Payload:
This virus from russia has the aim to format your hard disk and to
open an access for the author to your data. The virus is about 10 KB big
and attacks EXE-files, DLLs and other system data, as Screen saver files
etc. Its activation date is the 14th of July.
On this date Smash will overwrite the C:\IO.SYS-File
and shows the following message:
Virus
Warning! Your computer has been infected by virus. Virus name is
'SMASH', project D version 0x0A. Created and compiled by Domitor.
Seems like your bad dream comes true... |
After this your PC is restarted and the trojan activated.
The message "Formating hard disk..." appears and then the hard
disk is formated

Kapsersky Lab. They< have an update of their AVP-software (Antivirus
