Conclusion
The performance on this motherboard is
absolutely phenomenal. Every aspect of performance, from CPU to memory to
AGP to hard drives is just about the best I've ever seen. We've come to
expect great things from ASUS, and certainly the A7V133 is up to form. And
with ASUS' reputation for quality, I am sure the bugginess I found with
the IDE ports is unique to my particular board. The closest thing I have
to a complaint about this board is the poor overclocking capabilities.
With the JumperFree BIOS, ASUS has provided the tools to overclock like a
champ; I only wish those tools worked better.
If you're the type of person who wants
install new parts and immediately hit the ground running (and running
well), then the A7V133 is perfect for you. This board in your case is sure
to give you the best rig on the block.
Special thanks to Parsec
Productions for supplying the motherboard.
